Deuteronomy 28:64-66

⁶⁴ The Lord will scatter you among all the peoples, from the one end of the earth to the other, and there you will serve other gods, wood and stone, which neither you nor your fathers have known. ⁶⁵ Among these nations you will find no ease, nor will the sole of your foot have rest. But there the Lord will give you a trembling heart, failing of eyes, and despair of soul. ⁶⁶ Your life shall hang in doubt before you. You will be in dread day and night and will have no assurance of your life.
